CSD Regensburg takes place on Saturday 29th July 2023.

The Regensburg gay and lesbian initiative association against discrimination against homosexuality e. V - short RESI - occurs as a supporting association and Organizer of the Christopher Street Days in Regensburg.

From its founding in 1983, RESI organized demonstrations on various queer-political issues. First in loose succession. When the Pride movement gained more and more followers in the 90s of the last century, the club also took part, at that time the only LGBTI representation in Regensburg and the Upper Palatinate, on this idea. In 1994 the first street festival took place on Brückstraße. This place was already too small back then. And that's how he fills it Regensburger CSD since 1995 annually the Haidplatz. In the meantime, the Christopher Street Day in Regensburg is organized in cooperation with various institutions, associations, groups and private individuals. To take part, you need to be interested in queer topics from politics and culture. And you must feel good in the company of members of all ages from Resi eV, Young and Equal eV and Trans-Ident eV It also participates in the further QUEER-Stripe eV, BiNe eV, the Dyke Club and the Young Forum of the German-Israeli Society. Some well-known faces of local politics from the SPD and Green Youth are also there.

On July 29th, 2023 it will be colourful again in Regensburg: the Christopher Street Day will take place with a stage program and parade.

Parade
Line-up for the parade is at 1pm between the Old Town Hall and Haidplatz. As always, the route leads the participants through the old town, but this year it ends in Stadtamhof
