CSD Herrenberg takes place on Saturday the 2nd July 2022.

This will be the first Herrenberg Christopher Street Day (CSD) and the rally is on the market square. The action festival is organized as part of youth participation by the Pride Month project group, which raised rainbow flags for diversity and tolerance in Herrenberg last year.

This demonstration, known in the big cities as a party parade, is also intended to bring together, celebrate and support the queer community of Herrenberg. The 14-strong organizational team has given itself the task: "We want to draw attention to queer people in Herrenberg, stand up for their rights and support them," says Emma, ​​explaining her commitment. The creative organization team is hoping for an unforgettable Christopher Street Day premiere for Herrenberg. "The CSD is a great opportunity to celebrate Herrenberg's variety and diversity, and we are looking forward to a colourful day for our city," says Niels happily. The group consists of young people from Herrenberg and the surrounding area and is supported by the Stadtjugendring in cooperation with the youth centre.

The commemorative festival, which takes place between the street gallery and the arts and crafts market, is intended to bring additional life to the square on Saturday afternoon: from 3pm, speeches will start the afternoon. In the course of the afternoon, guests can find out more about queer life and support offers at the stands of the interest groups. A local band will provide musical accompaniment for the event, and DJ interludes and performance contributions will also ensure a good mood.
