Montpellier Pride takes place on Saturday the 15th June 2024.


The LGP Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon was created in 1995. At the time, it brought together 5 associations and 14 establishments and its main activity was the organization of the March, Lesbian and Gay Pride. In 1998, the LGP demonstrated for the first time outside the March events, this time to support the PaCS. A year later, the actions of the LGP are developing: debates, cultural week (artistic and activist before the March), development of partnerships with LGBT associations and businesses; More and more media are coming to the March. For the first time, deputy mayor Georges Frêche receives the president of the LGP and, in addition to the loan of a room, undertakes to communicate about the March in the municipal bulletin, houses for all, buses... The LGP hires its first employee under the Solidarity Employment Contract. The 30th Montpellier Pride is taking place this year.
