Raise your rainbow flag high and come join us for celebration of love, equality and diversity! Ruka Ski Pride will take over Ruka Ski Resort on 2th–5th of April in 2020.
The event targeted to GLBTIQ-community honors sexual diversity and gender variance with parties all weekend long. The program includes performances from Finnish and international artists, great After Ski parties, interesting seminars and a Ski Pride parade on skis and snowboards. Welcome to have fun under the spring sun at Ruka!
What is the Ruka Ski Pride?

3. The event includes skiing, snowboarding, after-ski, evening parties and the Finnish winter as it's best under the spring sun.
4. Ruka Ski Pride 2016 was the first ever organized HLBTIQ ski event in Finland.

Snow racing in ski slopes
Ride as much as you can in Saarua 16, 18 and Kuru 5 ski slopes between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm on Saturday–Thursday.
Come and experience the fun of snow racing in the slopes that are usually only for skiers and snowboarders. The first snow racer evening on season 2019–2020 is 7th of December 2019. Ride as much as you can in Saarua 16, 18 and Kuru 5 ski slopes between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm on Saturday–Thursday. A transition to the top is done by a Village-2-Valley gondola.
Please note, that snow racing is not possible on Fridays, due to Night Skiing – Ruka ski slopes are open until 11 pm.
If Village-2-Valley gondola is closed (e.g. due to high wind) snow racing is also cancelled. Check the opening hours of ski lifts >
TICKETS AND SNOW RACER RENTAL
Price: Gondola + Snow racer rental 25 €, with a valid ski pass: Snow racer rental 10 € – only card payments.
The price includes a two-hour ticket to the gondola (from 7 pm to 9 pm) and rent of a snow racer. Tickets only from the Ruka village gondola base station.
Evening rides with snow racers are suitable for both children and adults, please note that children under 10 years of age can can only participate under adult supervision. You can take your own snow racer with you - make sure it has the brake string which stops the snow racer after crash.
