Aarhus Pride is a celebration of diversity in Aarhus. The purpose of Aarhus Pride is to contribute to the respect for and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (also known as LGBT people) and make the LGBT culture visible in Aarhus.

At Aarhus Pride, and all events made in collaboration with others, everyone should be able to feel safe enough to speak for themselves. We believe in a healthy debate, where opinions can be opposite and opposite opinions are welcome, are listened to, and respected. Transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, or any kind of phobia against LGBTQIA+ humans are not tolerated at any event mentioned.

Parade
t is expected to take about 6 blocks to walk (from 11: 45-13: 15) the route. Below you can see the parade route (subject to change)
1.00 - 11.25 AM: Warm up and assembly for the parade at Bispetorvet.
11.30 AM: City parade
1.00 PM: The party at Officerpladsen starts
1.30 - 6.00 PM: The booths, music, food trucks etc. open
6.00 PM: The party at Officerpladsen closes
6.00 PM - 5.00 AM: After Party at various clubs around the city!

Pride Lounge will be waiting at the end of the rainbow in Musikhusparken and in the Officer's Square.
Furthermore, there will be music, awards and speeches from the big scene, while the grass will offer everything from bouncy castles and garden games to free play and relaxation.
