Chester Pride, the biggest free celebration in Cheshire West and Chester, has announced the details of its annual festival and has revealed a surprise move of date.

The 6th annual event will take place on Saturday 11 August 2018 and will include the popular Chester Pride parade through the city centre, followed by a programme of activities taking place in Castle Square.

Chester Pride Health, Wellbeing and Life Zone is housed in a large marquee, here you will find numerous organisations, charities, social groups, sports groups and much more. They will be handing out information, freebies, answering your questions and raising awareness of services and issues.

Areas covered will include housing, education, Unions, police, hate crime, fire and rescue, women’s aid, domestic abuse support, smoking cessation, drug and alcohol misuse, sexual health, mental well-being, exercise, healthy living, and Cheshire West and Chester Council services including fostering and adoption, libraries and civil partnerships and marriage.
