Victoria's Pride takes place on Sunday the 12th February 2023.

The annual event will be newly named Victoria’s Pride (previously Melbourne Pride) and will be held across the state for the next four years to support and celebrate our rainbow communities.

The event will provide an opportunity for people across the state to demonstrate their pride in and support for LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as for LGBTQIA+ people to connect with one another and feel represented.

Victoria’s Pride builds on the success of Melbourne Pride, a statewide event held across the 2021-22 summer to mark more than 40 years since the decriminalisation of sex between men in Victoria.

Street Party
The tour of state-wide events will culminate into a full-day and night street party in Melbourne’s iconic Gertrude and Smith Street precinct on Sunday 12 February 2023 (one week after the annual Midsumma Pride March).
Australian/Nigerian triple threat performer, and queer advocate Keiynan Lonsdale (aka Rainbow Boy) will headline Victoria’s Pride!!!!! Proving to be both an influential force within his generation and a powerful advocate and representative of the queer community, Keiynan has been recognised as GQ Australia’s Actor of the Year, a recipient of the NYC LGBT Centre for the Youth Advocacy Award and for his debut album ‘Rainbow Boy’, was nominated for a GLAAD award which is designed to honour musicians who use their musical repertoire to highlight LGBTIQA+ acceptance.
