Newcastle Pride takes place on Saturday the 25th October 2025.

Newcastle Pride is back in October, bigger, bolder, and brighter than ever! Across three fabulous weekends, our city will burst with colour, music, and celebration as we showcase the very best of queer culture, community, and creativity. Kicking things off, expect opening parties, cabaret, and dazzling performances to set the tone. Weekend two keeps the glitter flowing with theatre, film, and family-friendly fun, bringing together locals and visitors for moments that celebrate diversity and joy.

Parade
10:30-14:00 from Honeysuckle Car Park to Nobby’s Beach. Let’s turn the Newcastle foreshore into a sparkling sea of colour, creativity, and community. Think feathers, balloons, glitter explosions, and costumes so bright you’ll need sunnies to watch the parade.

Festival
The grand finale? Fair Day at Foreshore Park! This is the jewel in the crown – a huge outdoor celebration headlined by the incomparable Courtney Act, joined by the sensational Jimi the Kween. Think live music, DJs, community stalls, food trucks, and entertainment for all ages – a full day of Pride vibes by the harbour. From dancefloors to drag shows, community forums to family picnics, Newcastle Pride Festival is your chance to celebrate loudly, love proudly, and live your truth. Whether you're a Novocastrian or traveling in, there's something for everyone.
