Newcastle Pride takes place on Saturday the 25th October 2025.

Our vision is to make the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region a happier, healthier, safer and more culturally rich place for all the LGBTQIA+ community. To empower the current and future generations to be their true selves and feel accepted and proud of who they are, regardless of their gender identity or sexuality. We aspire to a safer, more inclusive future for our community. Newcastle Pride Inc. has zero tolerance for all forms of oppression, including racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, ableism, ageism, xenophobia and all other forms of discrimination.

Join us for the 3rd annual Newcastle Pride Foreshore Parade as we kick off Pride Month in style! This vibrant outdoor parade along our beautiful foreshore is a celebration of local LGBTIQA+ culture, diversity, and equality. We invite you to embrace your true self and come out and paint the Newcastle foreshore with a sea of rainbow.

Parade
13:00: Assemble at Newcastle Pride tent at Nobby’s Beach. 14:00: Parade starts from Nobby Beach, proceeding along the foreshore footpath, and concludes at Bernie’s Bar.

Festival
16:00: Bernie’s celebrations start with a sizzling BBQ followed by an afternoon DJ session from 16:00. For those who want to continue the celebration into the evening, get ready for an incredible line-up of local performers.
