The Brighton Birdcage opened its doors on the 3rd of May 2019 at 35 Gloucester Road to (we are glad to say) open arms. It's run by Nick and Wain who have worked in many walks of life over the years, including theatre, performance, photo shoots, make up, wig styling and of course drag.

The 'Birdcage' (as it's already being referred to) was set up, not just for drag queens, (although this is a big part of what we do) but also for anyone that cross dresses (M2F) or has thought about it but was never sure where to go and also for anyone who is trans (M2F). Already we have helped so many on their journey of discovery. We cover everything from wigs to heels and everything in between, including make-up, lashes, clothing, accessories, body shaping and jewellery.
