Basic Instincts, established in 1990, is situated in the cultural capital of Dublin, known as Temple Bar. No 8 Eustace Street is a Georgian building, built in 1720 and now completely restored to its former glory. This award winning restoration was over a 4 year period. We classify our store as a Mask, Fetish & Adult Shop specialising from genuine Venetian Masks to all kinds of ‘Fetishes’ for the modern discerning adult.

Basic Instincts have been associated with the Mask/Fetish industry for over 28 years.

Basic Instincts source handmade masks from “Craftsmen” all over Europe. Some of our suppliers date back over 300 years and still manufacture with high precision, their “art” craft handed down from generation to generation.
