Vaxjo Pride 2026

Vaxjo Pride takes place from 4th to 10th May 2026.

We take back favourites from the previous year such as the Pride art walk, the Pride pod, and lots of other important and fun events! It is together that we made Växjö Pride the big event it is. So help us with your voice and muscles to raise the LGBTQi issues and continue to put Växjö on the map with struggle, colour and a little glitter. Let us together continue the significant work that everyone should be who they are and love who they want! Both big and small are warmly welcome to show their participation in different ways under the rainbow flag.

Saturday 9th
Parade
The parade will take place on May 9, starting at 2:00 PM from Norrtullskolan in Växjö. Every year, thousands of participants gather in Växjö to celebrate diversity, highlight the life situation of LGBTQI people and stand up for the equal value of all. The parade is a living manifestation of community and solidarity, an opportunity for everyone to participate and contribute to a more inclusive world.
