Nerike Pride 2026

Nerike Pride takes place from the 31st August to 6th September 2026.

Since the very first pride parade was held in Örebro in 1971 (actually the first in Sweden), the city's pride festivals have been of different sizes, have existed in different forms and have been organized by different organisers. Since 2019, Nerike Pride has been coordinated by a project group led by RFSL Örebro. Together with enthusiasts, organisations and companies, we create an annual pride festival that highlights the rights of LGBTQI people.

Parade
12:00 - LGBT city walk. What has Örebro contributed to our LGBT history? You will find out if you join a walk in our history. The guide is Jan-Eric Norman. The cost is 100 kronor, paid on site with Swish. We will gather at the statue on Järntorget. If you wish to book a group, you can book separately. Both registration and booking are required.

Festival
Våghustorget (interpreted, Swedish sign language). Here you can access information, conversations and activities about sexual health, rights and relationships. Visit our tents with a focus on safer sex, STI/HIV, sex education or participate in creative activities such as makeup stations and workshops. Several organisations are on site and offer both knowledge and the opportunity for direct testing in an open and welcoming environment. The Pride Parade ends where the pride square is, so stay after the parade and continue the celebrations with us.

After party
21:00-02:00 The official pride party at Boulebar. Join us on an evening full of glitter, dancing and music. Tess Merkel (from Alcazar) & Martin Rolinski (from BWO) on stage in "BWO vs Alcazar, The Battle of hits." Gunilla Persson performs with “I won’t shake” and has met & greet. Dragshow with Fashion Pack and Rainbow Room. DJ Sebswe (known from Backdoor) keeps the dance floor alive. Club Homo invites you to cuddle in Glittergrottan and Sookie Saphire will meet you in the entrance.
