Christchurch Pride takes on Sunday the 1st March 2026.

Christchurch Pride, like Otautahi itself, is growing stronger and stronger. We're excited to celebrate who we are, our diversity and our city, with you, your friends and whanau, and all our fantastic supporters, sponsors and allies. Our key aims are to: Make this a family celebration. To make it inclusive for all. To celebrate with pride and visibility. And to bring together the diverse groups within the LGBTQIA+ community

Parade
We’ll be starting at The Commons on the corner of Kilmore St and Durham St North at 14:00 on Sunday and strutting our fine selves through the iconic wooden arches of The Commons and down into Victoria Square for an afternoon of Drag, Dance, Moana Vibes and live music.

Picnic
Bring a picnic blanket or chairs, your non-alcoholic drinks, and gather your friends, whānau and chosen family for an afternoon of community, entertainment, and celebration in the heart of Ōtautahi. And this is just the beginning.
