InfoGay's the Word Bookshop is London's independent LGBT book specialist, offering a wide choice of gay books and film that goes well beyond the mainstream. With friendly, helpful staff, the shop has a genuine community atmosphere and hosts regular book events and discussion groups. The author Armistead Maupin describes GTW as 'the fountainhead of queer literature in Britain.'

The Lesbian Discussion Group has been going for over 35 years and takes place every Wed from 8pm - 9pm
It’s a great place for women of all ages who enjoy debating or listening to discussions about current affairs, sexuality, politics, lifestyle and Lesbian-relevant topics.
There is a steady stream of newcomers.

TransLondon is a discussion/support group for all members of the ‘trans’ community, whatever their gender identity (or identities) and whatever stage in their ‘transition’ they have reached (if at all).
They hold meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
