As I have been visiting the Greenhouse in Darlaston for over a year now, I believe that makes me 'qualified' to comment upon it. As I did not know what it was like in the 'good old days' when the prices were lower, so I cannot make a comparison with then, but I think that is irrelevant to anybody currently considering going for the first time. There are two issues here: value for money and quality of product. The admission price of £16 is not cheap, but if you only go once or twice a month, it is a relatively small cost over a year. Furthermore, parking is free and towels, lube and condoms - and sometimes food and soft drinks - are provided for free, too. The quality of the product depends upon the facilities and the atmosphere. The locker room may be somewhat cramped and sometimes the saunas themselves are not as warm as they might be, but, considering the size of the building and the number of features, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. There is a decent-sized pool, a hot tub that could fit up to 10, 2 steam rooms, a dry sauna and at least 8 showers. There are 2 cinemas, 3 darkrooms, 6 gloryhole booths, many small private rooms and booths, as well as a dungeon and watersports area. There is also a smoking area, a relaxation lounge and even an outside area on the roof. In my experience, Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays ('Dare to Bare' day, where patrons are expected to go naked) are the busiest. If you go into any of the rooms you will be 'safe' from any unwanted attention; guys will be friendly but I personally have never experienced or witnessed any 'pushiness' by anybody on anyone. In the darkrooms you will find hands and bodies aplenty; if that does not appeal to you either don't go in there in the first place or leave when it happens. This place is clean, warm, comfortable, enjoyable and friendly, with a wide variety of clientele and attractions to keep both newcomers and regulars satisfied - and worth the admission price, too!

I was in the area again, and thought I`d have another hour or so here, as not been back for about three years, this was 11th visit.(I used to live in Bloxwich). Quite a few changes were noticed, IE, better video room, More spacious inside. There is a Watersports area, not my thing, but credit to the management for thinking of all tastes! The dark areas, I know I`m going to state tho obvious, but why so dark, I and two others walked into the wall/doors, can you at least put some more lights on! With other saunas i`ve been to, they too have dark areas, but have at least one room with plenty of lighting, so you can see the action(if any). When you go into a sauna, you know what you are entering and what people will do, so expect to see a few erections and some M on M action. Thought I would try the pool out, in all the times I have been here, it was always too cold to use, and this time again, was no exception, PLEASE turn up the heat slightly, its like stepping into a pond, freezing! I spoke to a few others, and they too agreed that the pool is too cold, never saw anyone at all use it while i was there, and i had a coffee and was right next to it for about 30 mins, such a shame to see such a beautiful feature not being used due to it being too cold. The hot tub was good, but the room it was in smelt slightly, damp?, Not sure, but it was a really musty stink, and a few others commented on it as well. I had been in the past to the naked days, used to like this day, but couldn`t understand why you go into the sauna on this day, and walk around with a towel on, do like the sauna does in Leicester, give out a small towel to dry you off, but not big enough to wrap around yourself, don`t advertise a naked day, but allow towels to be used, seemed pointless to me. While I was in the hot tub,a few guys came in and played with me and others, then got up, covering their dicks with both hands? Its a naked day guys, lighten up! Thanks for another great time, and will go again soon.
