Cat: Gay beach
InfoA vast nudist beach with a large gay section including dunes and woodland.
Studland Beach is a popular beach is packed come summertime, whether the weather is hot or not, so this is not the beach to come to if you’re looking for peace and solitude. The shy nudists out there might be better off trying a different beach if you’re still precarious about stripping off.
Studland Bay has a dedicated gay section which, whether you like it or not, has unsurprisingly become a popular cruising ground
Take number 150 bus or cross the chain ferry, walk 20 mins around the coast to the signposted nudist section. Busy on warm summer days, highly recommended, but there are National Trust patrols, so be discreet.

Good turnout in the dunes today, expect even better from Good Friday to Easter Monday with the weather predicted sunny and warm. Don't forget to take provisions with you - sometimes you can buy sandwiches and ice creams etc from a van on the beach, but it isn't always there.

Have been a couple of times on warm spring days this year, good support already with a turnout of 20-30 by early afternoon, mainly nude in the dunes. Younger guys tend to go weekends and holiday times, but you can get lucky here any day. Studland is a five star location by any standards, and it's well worth planning a day there as the weather gets even better - you're unlikely to regret it.

Studland is superb on a hot sunny day, especially at weekends and in July/August, quieter midweek but usually worth the trip. But it needs our continued support to keep up the standards. So if you've never tried it, pluck up the courage to get your kit off in public [not compulsory, but more fun that way] and go for it! Nature lovers usually find that the woods at the back of the dunes are particularly interesting.
