Love month is finally here!

Love month is finally here... January’s out the way, you’re paying off the credit cards :) and now it's time to look for something to do on Valentine’s on 14 February for that special person, whether you live with them or not. We hope that we can spread the love faster than COVID. As we’re still in lockdown in several countries, including the UK, maybe surprise them with a delivery of some-thing they like. Also, if you live with them, may be a ‘love’ meal followed by... well, we will stop there" :)

On a wider note, we hope to have our pride festivals back this year, and we also hope that we can return to normal living and standing up for what we believe in... "Love is Love" and no-one can take our shine from us. Happy Valentines month to all our readers and businesses. Spread love not Covid...

Royal Vauxhall Tavern, London, England

The Royal Vauxhall Tavern
The much loved Royal Vauxhall Tavern is an iconic London (RVT) landmark. In normal times it was an award-winning cabaret, performance and club night destination. The RVT won the accolade of London’s Best Cabaret Venue in 2018 and 2019.

The RVT seems a successful independent company which strives to provide consistently good cabaret and performance shows with both national artists and the best local artists show-casing their work. We can’t wait for the RVT to reopen after the lockdown.

Featured Pride: National Student Pride 2021

National Student Pride 2021 aims to take place from 19 April to 25 April 2021.
You don't need to be a student to buy a ticket -it's open to everyone. It’s the 16th pride festival and will feature live streamed panels, performances and the Pride career graduate recruitment fair.

Students from all over the world travel to the event making it the biggest gathering of LGBTQ+ students. National Student Pride.

2021 PinkUk now has 74 prides and events in the UK, and a total of 249 prides and events in 33 countries.
2022 we now have 1 pride in the UK, and have a total of 4 prides and events in 4 countries.

Grindr reveals countries by most ‘tops’ and ‘bottoms’

Gay dating ap Grindr has counted all its users who identify in their profile as a ‘top’ or ‘bottom’ and extrapolated this across most countries in the world.

The countries which have the highest proportion of ‘tops’ include Morocco, India, Nigeria, Chile and Israel. Vietnam, Sweden, Thailand, Peru and South Africa have the high-est share of those who identify as ‘bottom’. Grindr blog
