The Belgian Pride Festival, which was supposed to take place from May 8 to 24, is postponed due to the coronavirus. “In Belgium, we are currently living in a situation that we have not experienced for a long time and of which we never hope again to be witnesses. The Belgian Pride Festival brings together more than 100,000 visitors to Brussels each year. This can and should only be done under healthy and safe conditions. Because the organization of a Pride requires a lot of investment from everyone involved, we decided to postpone the Belgian Pride 2020 until August 29, 2020 ", declares the organization The Belgian Pride asbl

The whole weekend we’ll turn our capital upside down. From Pride Village and Parade, to tasty cocktails and spectacular acts and music in the Rainbow Village (Sint-Jacobswijk/Quartier Sint-Jaques), to overwhelming parties throughout the entire city. Get ready for the Belgian Pride!

The highlight is the exuberant and colourful Pride Parade on Saturday, May 23rd, routed through the heart of the city. Numerous delegations provide atmosphere, party and stimulating messages. The Pride Village also opens its doors on the Kunstberg/Mont des Arts that day. Enjoy, together with thousands of others, of surprising acts, music, culinary specialties and the stall market where many LGBTI+ organizations present themselves.
