Suriname Pride takes place from the 1st to 26th October 2024.

Also on behalf of the LGBT Platform Suriname, we proudly announce again under special circumstances the 14th Pride month Suriname. We want to encourage LGBT people to continue to fight for acceptance. Pride is for us and by us. The theme emphasises how important it is to be able to count on each other, to be there for each other, to be understanding and to accept each other regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and emphasises the importance of unity, involvement and participation also for those who are not yet visibly being able or wanting to be themselves.
