Coventry Pride returns with our annual Pride festival, and this year the theme is Pride and Joy. The main Pride day will take place on Sunday 8 August across a number of city-centre venues, including a fantastic takeover.

On Saturday 7th August we will have a series of talks and arts events for those who want to dip their toe in ahead of the Sunday.

This year’s event is a partnership between Coventry Pride, Coventry City of Culture Trust, Corsairs, Prism, Queer Disrupt, City Fibre, and Coventry Building Society.

The event will showcase local acts including musicians, dancers, and drag performers and will feature a number of food and drinks stalls.
This year, Pride is part of Summer of Pride which will showcase local talent with a summer of events including art exhibitions, concerts, and art installations.
This will be a ticketed event, that is free. You will be able to register for tickets soon.

On Sunday 8th August we will be taking over the Piccolo tent, at Assembly Gardens, from 12-3 pm. Join us for our community sessions, a collection of performances from our community members and a few allies to keep you entertained and uplifted. Acts include V4 – a fantastic 90s throwback tribute act, and Jade Baradell, as well as local drag and singing acts.

We’ll also be taking over the festival gardens themselves on Sunday 8 August where we are creating a Garden of Pride & Joy, a space to get some refreshments, to sit, to laugh to reconnect with our community, no bubbles just us, a family of diverse communities, here you will be able to relax and enjoy the roaming entertainment, in between joining in our activities at the Treehouse, The Piccolo and Queen of Flanders.
