Tamworth Pride takes place on Saturday the 15th July 2023.

Here at Tamworth Pride, we know that all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since coming together in 2021 we formed great friendships between the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. We are a well balanced group of individuals who all have the same goals; to eliminate prejudice, to be able to celebrate who we truly are, create safe spaces for those that may need them and most of all show that Tamworth is an inclusive place to live.

In many countries it is still prohibited to be who you want to be and love who you want, by holding pride events just like ours, we are showing solidarity with not only our local communities but the world.

Tamworth Pride is an annual festival that takes place in Tamworth Castle Grounds every summer. This exciting event celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and aims to promote equality, diversity, and inclusivity. The festival boasts a variety of amazing performers, including musicians, drag queens, and dancers, who will entertain the crowds with their outstanding talent and energy. In addition to the fantastic performers, Tamworth Pride also features a range of food vendors serving up delicious treats and refreshments, a fully licensed bar serving a variety of drinks, and a fun fair with rides and games for all ages. This festival is a great opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and celebrate diversity and inclusivity in a fun and welcoming environment.
