Info
Taunton Pride takes place on Saturday the 16th September 2023.
Taunton pride has been rescheduled from 22nd July 2023. This will be its most inclusive, colourful and creative festival yet. We believe that by creating an exciting event attracting people from all walks of life we will be able to promote not only Arts but culture, diversity and inclusivity, creating a vibrant community of respect and connection. For young LGBTQIA+ people in Taunton, it’s crucial that they feel represented. Our event is a collaborative progression from previous events celebrating arts, culture, diversity and inclusion. With an increased capacity of 10,000 people this year, Taunton Pride aims to be one of the busiest, yet safest events anywhere in the South West.

Parade
Kick starting this year's celebrations, we take Pride back to its roots and invite you to come and join the rest of the community to take part in our official 2023 Pride March which will start to gather from 11am. Leaving from Goodlands Gardens at 11.30am the March will then progress up North Street, past the historical Market House in the centre of Taunton Town Centre, before bearing right and heading up toward the main entrance of Vivary Park and into this year's Main event. There’s no need to register, just check out the details below and we will see you on the day.
Please note, vehicles, and dogs, are not permitted.
Festival
At noon on the gates of Vivary Park will open for this year’s main event which stays open until 8pm in the evening. You can expect a welcoming, diverse and inclusive event that allows you to celebrate your pride, your way. The event is going to be ticketed this year, and entry currently costs £7.50 (increasing to £10 on the day), however you’ll also be helping us to help our community as 50% of the ticket price will be donated directly to The Taunton Pride Foundation Fund, which will then distribute as much money as possible to those organisations in our community who support every single one of us to help them continue to undertake the work they do. The other 50% will pay for this year’s event, and other events in the future to take place.

This is by far the worst Pride event in the UK. Pride organizers have managed to wind up and upset a lot of the LGBT+ communities here in Taunton.
The main organiser is called Jenny Eastwell-Keogh who is a straight women who provides, straight entertainment, straight managed stalls and bars, that sell flat warm pre pulled pints to the public, should you complain you're man handled by straight security staff who clearly have an attitude towards the LGBT + networks.
The last three years that Taunton has attempted to put on a pride show has failed at every single opportunity to address complaints from all members of the LGBT + communities.
They are not interested in hearing any form of criticism from members of the public, and will happily ignore any complaints.
Poor advertising, which is very clock and dagger when it comes to information being advertised either on Facebook or other media platforms. Many people did ask for a refund, which was also rejected by the organizer, Jenny.
This is what happens when we allow the straight community to take over Gay events.
Out of all the Pride events hosted here in the UK, Taunton Pride is the worst ever! And should be avoided.
