Info
Bristol Pride takes place from Saturday 25 June – Monday 11 July 2022.
Bristol Pride is a unique and important event that celebrates the LGBT+ community and offers the chance to connect and bring people together.
We’re thrilled that the festival will return this summer and span two weeks from Saturday 25 June – Monday 11 July.
During the two weeks, our exciting programme of events will take place in venues across Bristol, bringing the city alive with Pride. Our spectacular Pride Day headlined by Carly Rae Jepsen will be taking place on Saturday 9 July on The Downs.
This year will also see the return of the Pride Parade March, louder and prouder than ever, as we mark the 50th anniversary of the first pride march in the UK. It is a chance to be visible and, importantly, it serves as a reminder that the LGBT+ community continues to fight for equality.
Parade
The parade will gather at Castle Park from 10am and will depart at 10.45am.
The route is approximately 2 miles long and will take about 1 hour to complete.
The Parade March is what Pride is, and we are incredibly excited about returning to the streets for Pride Day on Saturday, 9 July.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Pride marches in the UK, with the Parade being an integral part of what Bristol Pride is – thousands of people showing their support for LGBT+ lives and rights.
Pride is a protest! We use our political voice to amplify, maintain and further LGBT+ human rights in Bristol and beyond. It is a bold statement for equality, diversity and inclusion, to celebrate our community and to show that hatred and prejudice have no place in our city, or anywhere. We encourage community groups, charities, public sector organisations and businesses who actively support LGBT+ human rights to join us.
