The third annual Q-Film Weekender takes place from 8th - 10th November 2019 at the Northampton Filmhouse! The film festival celebrates LGBTQIA+ stories from around the world, with exclusive premieres, previews and in-person events.

Tickets start from £3 or, to experience the best of the festival, we have a Festival Pass for entry to 10 films and events for just £70 (standard) or £45 (18-25 year olds). Discount is automatically applied at checkout.

We are thrilled to be joined by filmmaker Jake Graf for an In Conversation following a selection of his short films. We also have Q&As with Freddy McConnell (Seahorse: The Dad Who Gave Birth) and filmmaker Molly Hewitt, for the European premiere of Holy Trinity. We are also delighted to be joined by filmmaker Claire Lawrie and star Winn Austin for an In Conversation after the award-winning short film, BEYOND “There’s Always a Black Issue, Dear”.

Other highlights include preview screenings of critically-acclaimed romances, And Then We Danced and Portrait of a Lady on Fire, and a very special screening of the restored classic, Buddies.
