Queer Nature takes place at Kew Gardens from the30th September to 29th October 2023.

This October, celebrate the diversity and beauty of plants and fungi with an inspiring new festival, Queer Nature. Step inside Kew’s iconic Temperate House to discover a large-scale suspended artwork and a horticultural installation which explore the amazing world of plants and fungi, particularly those that challenge traditional expectations. Hear from Kew scientists, horticulturists, writers and many more leading voices on their individual perspectives on queerness and nature. Plus watch out for plenty of weekends and After Hours events.

Queer Nature After Hours
13, 14, 20 and 21 October, @ 6.30pm to 10.30pm
An evening of performance, art and music in the Temperate House. Join us for an evening of queer entertainment amongst the foliage of the iconic Temperate House, and enjoy exclusive access to the Queer Nature exhibition. Expect music, cabaret, comedy, drag artists and talks alongside a sprinkling of queer joy, surrounded by some of the world’s rarest and most endangered plants. This is an inclusive evening for over 18’s only. Come along to experience Kew as you have never seen it before, After Hours. Prices Kew member adult: £17, Adult: £19.
