Proud Ness are delighted to announce a date for this year’s Proud Ness on Sunday 21 July 2019 in Inverness, they listened to your feedback that you wanted it to be a summer date and a later start time for the march, and we have delivered.

Parade
The march will begin from Crown Primary School at 1pm, and we’ll then begin a procession down Stephen’s Brae, along Eastgate and the High Street towards the Bridge Street bridge, crossing over the river and then along the banks of the River Ness.
We’ll pick up anyone who can’t manage the full march route at Eden Court Theatre and Cinema before continuing on down Ness Walk towards the Bught Park pitches where the party begins!

Park
The main event, following the march, on Sunday 21 July will be at Bught Park where there will be stalls with information on offer from different organisations which serve the LGBT+ community, guest speakers and live music under our massive tent (Highland weatherproofed!). There will also be a funfair, inflatable city for children, and food and drink stalls.
Proud Ness event will be located in and around, the Gathering Tent with additional entertainment provided by four of the Highland’s top young bands taking part in the Inverness Gigs Showcase.
The day will also feature Ruff Ness dog event, Well Ness show, and Exclusively Highlands Craft Fair and Traders Village. Proud Ness is part of the Inverness Gala organised by the Highland Council Events team who have been working closely with us to provide a large outdoor space with lots of stuff going on for everyone to enjoy!
The event arena will be open from 1pm until 5pm.
