Gloucestershire Pride takes place on Saturday the 9th September 2023.
This year, Pride in Gloucestershire will return to Gloucester Park on the 9th September to celebrate, campaign for and connect Gloucestershire's LGBTQ+ community.
We invite the LGBTQ+ community and our allies each year to join us as we take to the City of Gloucester to celebrate our fantastic community. Our annual Pride day starts with a proud Parade through Gloucester City centre, followed by a whole day of celebrations at Gloucester Park.
Parade
We'll be kicking off Pride day with a proud and colourful march through Gloucester City Centre from 11.00am starting at Gloucester Cathedral. Anyone is welcome to join us; we encourage you to come loud, proud and ready to celebrate who you are!
Festival
We have 4 live music stages: The OMG Main Stage, the Fresh Group Cabaret Stage, our acoustic stage and one of the few Prides in the UK to have a dedicated Kink and Fetish Zone with stage for performances, talks and a rope workshop (18+ only though - ID required). Our Headliners include Booty Luv, Drag Race UK's Copper Topp, Angie Brown, Jaymi Henseley, MKSM, Dr Bev, Wyburn & Wayne, Trayla Trash and plenty more. In addition, we have a Family zone with crafts, circus skills and Drag Queen story reading, a Youth Zone with the MusicWorks Music Bus, the Trans Zone and TiG community cafe and the return of our "Speakers Corner" debating, info and spoken word tent. And then with the Funfair, bars, great range of food and 60+ traders and community stalls there is plenty for everyone for the whole day - and thanks to our sponsors including Walls Ice Cream, Molly & Tommy and GenderGP it's FREE ENTRY!
Accessibility
We are inches from gaining the Bronze Attitude is Everything accreditation and have a Main Stage Viewing platform, based in a level park space, quiet area, sensory area for the neurodiverse, water for service dogs, BSL interpreters on Main Stage (full programme) and across other stages (partial coverage) We also supply large print programmes and ear defender lending from the Info & Accessibility tent. 8pm at Jax Nightclub & Bar featuring Kara Von Site - tickets direct from them from £10 (early bird offer).
