The Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run returns on Friday 31 July 2026, bringing another evening of colour, community and celebration to Hove Park as part of the Brighton & Hove Pride weekend.
Launched by Brighton & Hove Frontrunners in 2022, the Rainbow Run has quickly become one of the highlights of the city’s Pride celebrations. In just four years, the event has raised over £18,000 for local LGBTQ+ charities and community causes, making a real difference across Brighton & Hove.
This year, we’re once again welcoming 500 runners for a fun, inclusive and chip-timed 5K, with MindOut, the LGBTQ+ mental health charity, as our Charity of the Year. In addition, £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Pride Community Foundation, helping to support LGBTQ+ projects across the city.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, taking on your first 5K, or simply running with friends in your brightest Pride outfit, the Rainbow Run is for everyone aged 14 and over. Expect an unforgettable atmosphere with live entertainment, music, colourful celebrations, and fantastic local support as you cross the finish line to cheers from hundreds of spectators.

Running is always better together! Create a team when you register and invite your friends, family, colleagues or workplace to join you. Whether you’re representing a local club, a small business or a multinational organisation, entering as a team is quick and easy.
If you’re entering multiple teams from the same company, please place the company name first (for example, Company Name, Marketing) so all participants are counted correctly. The largest team will receive a special recognition award.
