Disability Pride Festival – Hove Lawns
Sunday 14th July – Free entry 11:30am until 6pm

Last year Disability Pride welcomed 3000 disabled people alongside their families and friends.
Why not come along this year and join us for a fun filled day?
Special guests include: Alison Lapper MBE, Brighton & Hove Mayor Cllr Alexandra Phillips, Caroline Lucas MP.
Lots of things to do – live music, information outlets, stalls, art areas, face-painting, food outlets.
Accessible event – BSL interpreters, Changing Places toilet and free shuttle bus service.
The festival begins with a short parade along the beautiful Brighton & Hove promenade from the i360 at 11.30am, arriving at the Peace Statue just before midday.
We then all meet at the main stage for Alison Lapper MBE, Jenny Skelton and Cllr Alexandra Phillips to open.

The festival is aligned with other global Disability Pride events in New York City, Italy and Senegal.

Please note that Disability Pride Brighton is NOT a specific event/organisation only for the disabled LGBTQ+ community, but for ANYONE with ANY impairment plus their family, friends and carers. We called it Disability Pride so that it is in line with other international Disability Pride organisations.
