Brighton Bear Weekend, takes place from the 6th to the 9th July 2023.

Brighton Bear Weekend aspire to run the friendliest series of bear events that attract an ever-growing crowd who enjoy the excitement of having furry fun by the seaside. The weekend will provide a range of events that has something for everyone in the wider bear community, recognising that bears come in all shapes, sizes, and flavours!

Thursday 6th
Quiz Night – Camelford Arms. 7pm – 11pm booking advised. £2 Entry fee

Bearlesque – Ironworks Studios. 7pm – 11:30pm booking advised. From £11.53

Friday 7th
Welcome Party & Mr Brighton Bear Contest – Dorset Gardens. 5pm – 9:30pm. BBW Marquee! Mr. Brighton Bear Contest. Cabaret. BBW Bar. Food by Lunch Positive. 10% Food and drink discount with BBW Wristband. No entry fee – max 500 people in the park.

Bear the Bully – Bulldog. 9:30pm – Close. Entry fee from £5, 20% discount on all drinks. Guest DJ. Cloakroom. Men only.

Bear Kingdom – Legends. 9:30pm – Close. Free Entry. Cabaret Sally. 10% drink discount with BBW Wristband. Guest DJ. Cloakroom.

Saturday 8th
Silent Disco – Brighton, 11:30am – 12:30pm. £15. Starts at central Brighton location. Ends at Garden Party. Limited spaces

The Garden Party – Dorset Gardens 12pm – 6pm. BBW Marquee! BBW Bar. Food by Lunch Positive. 10% Food and drink discount with BBW Wristband. Live entertainment all afternoon – hosted be Jon Borthwick. Around 30 vendors and community organisations. No entry fee – max 500 people in the park.

Bear-a-oke – Legends. 6pm – 9pm. Hosted by Jon B and Candi-Rell. No entry fee

Bear Affair – Legends. 9pm – Close. Cabaret Fat Butcher. 10% drink discount with BBW Wristband. 2 Guest DJs. Cloakroom. Men only.

Sunday 9th
Sunday Lunch – Legends. 12:30pm – 6pm (booking advised). Sunday roasts – 10% discount for BBW Wristband holders. Cabaret – Kara Van-Park – get there early as this will fill up quickly £5 suggested donation to Sussex Beacon and The Rainbow Fund

Sunday Lunch – Arcobaleno. 12:30pm – 6pm (booking advised). Sunday roasts – 10% drinks discount for BBW Wristband holders. Live Jazz Band – get there early as this will fill up quickly £5 suggested donation to The Rainbow Fund

Underbears @ Legends Den – Legends – 9:00pm – LATE! (Doors Close at 10pm). £10 tickets £3 discount when purchased with the BBW Wristband. Strict underwear only, Free cloakroom. Dance Floor with BBW DJ. Relaxed bar area in the Snug. Berlin maze and camo netting area.
