Tavistock Pride takes place on Saturday the 6th July 2024.

Tavistock Pride is an annual parade and day festival which brings together the LGBT+ community and their allies in celebration, creating a voice for those in Tavistock, West Devon and the surrounding areas. Tavistock’s 3rd event will start with a parade through the town to the Meadows, where there will be a festival-style event all day until early evening.

Parade
From noon
Come and be part of the celebration and join our on-foot parade. We are looking for a diverse range of organisations to bring something loud/colourful/fun/festive to be in the parade. There won’t be any floats, so we are looking for businesses and organisations to get creative with banners, music, sculptures, masks, dance – or simply join the parade with your group and march in solidarity with your LGBTQ+ community.

Festival
Tavi Pride will take place on Saturday, predominantly in the Meadows from 1pm (exact timings to be confirmed). During the afternoon there will be a festival-style event and a picnic in the park with music and other family-friendly festivities followed by a parade and speeches ending in the town square at 5:30pm. We hope that local pubs will want to join in and help the celebrations continue into the evening.
