Furness Pride will take place on the 13th May 2023.

In 2019 Young people from our LGBTQ+ youth group visited Liverpool Pride and had a great time watching the Parade and acts all in the name of inclusion. When they returned, they asked why Furness didn't have a similar event, so Furness Pride was developed.

This event is the second physical one, and we are hoping to build on the success of last year's pride. The theme is Harmony, and we will be celebrating diversity and inclusion in and around Barrow Town Centre. Local performers will be showcasing their talent, and we will be inviting local organisations, businesses and support services to have information stalls.
