Umbria Pride will be held on Saturday 25 June 2022.

Perugia - After the experience of Perugia Pride, which for seven years brought thousands of people to the streets and squares of the capital, and after two years of stoppage due to the pandemic, gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans * and intersex Umbria announce the first Umbria Pride, a major regional event for the promotion and protection of rights. The Umbria Pride coordination includes AGEDO Terni, Amelia Pride, Esedomani Terni, Rainbow Families and Omphalos LGBTI.

"Umbria Pride was born from the desire to coordinate the main Umbrian LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans * and intersex) realities - declared the spokespersons of the five organizations - the aim is to promote the rights of our regional community and to promote it welfare and claims through the organization of the regional Pride and related events, demonstrations, campaigns and initiatives. The Umbria Pride coordination aims to talk about rights and respect for differences in all the territories of our region, even outside the major centres, encouraging the birth of new aggregation realities that pursue the same purposes of coordination and networking those already existing realities."

The grand final march of Umbria Pride will be held on Saturday 25 June 2022 and will be preceded by a large program of events, cultural events, debates and reviews organized throughout the region, to deepen the issues and claims of the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans * and intersex)
