Rural Pride / Countryside Pride takes place on Saturday, the 27th July 2024.

Fiertés Rurales is the Pride of the countryside. It's a pride march in a rural area, in Chenevelles, in Vienne. It is an inclusive event, open to everyone. All people, LGBTQ+ or not, young or old, are welcome. We are calling on local entrepreneurs to organise the event. We also favour local products for food and drink.

Currently, LGBT+ people are migrating from small towns and the countryside to larger cities, where the social environment is perceived to be more inclusive. However, big cities are not suitable for all LGBT+ people, some aspire to a rural lifestyle. The Rural Pride event thus aims to make the campaigns attractive for LGBT+ people, by offering them a political moment, a moment of visibility and a festive moment in Chenevelles, a village of 482 inhabitants in Vienne.


The community village from 11:00.
Meet the partner associations from Saturday morning at 11 a.m., an opportunity to meet, talk together and eat on site thanks to local food trucks. .

Pride leaves at 15:00.
Tractors, carts and trucks are expected for a parade in the countryside. Music, costumes and glitter in the middle of the fields, Chenevelles reinvents the LGBT pride march in rural mode! Like last year, a competition for the most beautiful float will be organised.

The festival until 04:00.
A festive moment with LGBTQ+ artists will brighten up your evening and your night. The opportunity to party together, to dance and to offer a space of visibility to all.
