The Yard is the longest running Gay Bar on the Newcastle Gay Scene. The bar opened in the early 80s for the LGBT community by the current owner and operator, Mr. Adrian Gadd under the name of The Courtyard. With a total overhaul in 2000.

Open daily with a number of events and entertainment downstairs in the Yard.
