Have been there with my partner several times since the last guys review in March and was able to get intot he car park okay,lots of varied action and very cruisy & busy friday and saturday nights . A good alternative to the heath !!

They have locked the gate! So you can only get in on foot - along with the dog walkers . . . There is limited parking in the layby outside. It may be temporary as there was no notice stating it is now closed - like on the other side of the dual carriageway. It was a nice sunny day so 3 of us took a 'walk in the woods' and had a good time! Darius
