There are already 6 sports events confirmed for the 2016 Pride Diversity Games – football, golf, rugby, tennis, cricket and of course the Rainbow Run – as well as the Pride Diversity Games FunDay on Sunday 24th July. Non-competitive sporting events are also on offer, for example yoga, Petanque, tennis for beginners, Pilates and walking. Access to sports venues – squash courts, badminton courts, basketball court are also being made available at low prices for this special weekend.
We are expecting up to 1,000 participants and 500 other visitors from all over the UK and Europe to take part in the Games in our popular summer city. Pride Diversity Games look forward to welcoming all UK and European LGBT friendly sport clubs and individual sporting participants to participate in these games in the friendly city of Brighton. We offer you well organised sport events as well as some fun during the games.
The Pride Diversity Games 2016 events are held in Brighton and Hove over the weekend of Saturday 23rd to Sunday 24th July 2016, and are run by Brighton Pride CIC in association with BLAGSS, TransCanSport, Sussex County FA, Sussex Cricket and other organisations.
The main venues for the Games so far are Falmer Sports Complex, University of Sussex, Hollingbury Golf Course, Preston Park and Hove Park.

Saturday 23rd July
• Tennis tournament, Falmer Sports Complex, University of Sussex, registration from 8.00am, matches from 9.00am
• Golf tournament, Hollingbury Golf Course, registration from 8.30am, matches from 9.30am
• Rugby tournament, Hove Park, 10.00
• Football tournament, Falmer Sports Complex, University of Sussex, registration from 10.00am, matches from 11.00am
• Cricket tournament, Falmer Sports Complex, University of Sussex, registration from 12noon, matches from 1.00pm
Saturday 23rd July – evening
• Group meals in popular Brighton eateries.
• Social event – in a venue in Brighton – apprx start 9.00pm.
Sunday 24th July
• 5 km Rainbow Run, Preston Park, warm up 11.30am, start at 12noon
• Pride Diversity Games FunDay, Preston Park, 1.30pm
• Award Ceremony, Preston Park, 3.30pm
