Members T&Cs

1. You need to be 18 or over to have a members account
2. All accounts will have to be confirmed, before given access
3. Any email address that bounce, reported as spam or are blocked, will have their accounts deleted
4. Only logged in members can see the cruising grounds details
5. Only logged in members can use the forums
6. Only logged in members can add reviews
7. Only logged in members can use the e-cards
8. Only logged in members can send dating section
9. Only logged in members can add a banner advert

Check out the features of our listing plans and we're sure you'll agree we provide most thing you need advertise your venue. If there's a particular feature you would like, then please ask.

1. PinkUk can accept venues from anywhere in the world
2. If you include an invalid email your venue will not be added, we will send you an email at times, and if the email bounces your venue will be delete
3. If you add text is in upper case, your venue will be delayed, as this creates extra work to convert the case
4. Since The Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2007 all venues MUST accept people of the same sex, we will now only add and update venues that are one or more of the below:
   • Gay run
   • Owned by gay people
   • Aimed primarily for the LGBTQ+ community
   • Have an LGBTQ+ theme
   • Happy to be listed as Gay friendly
5. The more details you give the better your venue will stand out and will also help with search engine rankings
6. Your venue will stand out if you add an image
7. Your venue will have low PinkUk rankings if you do not supply an image
8. You can only add plain text and images to your listing. You cannot add any mark up code ie HTML and JavaScipt
9. Basic listing is free, the Premium Listing is £50/year

Photos

1. Your images must be of your venue, logo or from your venue
2. Only JPG, JPEG & PNG images we be accepted
3. Max size 10Mb
4. You must have full copyright permissions on all images you upload
5. Any image uploaded can be used elsewhere on the site or other material related to PinkUk, we will not pass your image onto third parties
6. Images will be resized to 150px * 150px and 320px * 214px or 640px * 428px for Premium listing (see table above).
7. We will not accept any sexual images, please keep them PG rated

Banner advert T&Cs

With a banner advert, your banner will be displayed at the top of most pages and could get 140,000+ views per month, it makes sense to reach LGBTQ+ audiences.

1. PinkUk can accept an advert from anywhere in the world
2. The more details you give the better your advert will stand out
3. Your advert will be valid for 30 days, thou more slots can be purchased
4. Your advert will appear at the top of all main pages including Venue, Pride and Region pages, currently over 10,000 pages
5. If more than one advert exists at any one time, then your advert will appear in random manner along with any other current adverts
6. You are responsible for all content added to your advert
7. You advert will appear immediately after payment has been made and confirmed
8. The description length must be no longer than 500 characters
9. The cost is The cost is £5/month or £50/year

Photos

1. Your advert will stand out if you add an image
2. You can have 1 image
3. We will not accept any sexually explicit image
4. You must have permission to use any image that you use
5. Max size 10Mb.
6. Only JPG, JPEG & PNG images we be accepted
7. You must have full copyright permissions on any images you upload
8. Any image uploaded can be used elsewhere on the site or other material related to PinkUk, we will not pass your image onto third parties
9. Images will be resized to 320*214, 205*250, or 150*150px

Pride/Event details T&C's

1. PinkUk can accept prides/events from anywhere in the world
2. Events will not be added until it has been vetted
3. If you include an invalid email your event will not be added be added, we will send you an email at times, and if the email bounces your event will be deleted
4. If you add text is in upper case, your event will be delayed in being added as this creates extra work to convert the case
5. We only accept gay events ie prides
6. The more details you give the better your event will stand out and will also help with search engine ranks. People will also be more likely add it to their Facebook
7. The events are for individual annual events. If you have regular events then please add a venue, then add the events to your venue as and when you know the dates
8. There is no fee for this

2. You can have 1 image
3. We will not accept any sexually explicit image
4. Your images must be of your event, logo or from your event

Newsletter T&C's

Past news letters can be seen on our Newsletters page.

1. Emailed to 11,006 (Sep 2023) of LGBTQ+ consumers and businesses
2. Emailed to 77 countries, so truly global
3. Sent out once a month
4. We publish a newsletter simultaneously an e-letter and a PDF magazine style version every month
5. The PDF version has a prime front page advert and the e newsletter features the advert top of billing
6. The news letter will be prompted on PnkUk's FaceBook Group and on X page
7. The cost is £25 or £50 per issues, depending on advert size

Photo

1. You can have one image
2. The image will be resized to 90mm * 90mm for the £50 advert, or 90mm * 45mm or 45mm * 90mm £25 advert, so please send us a square image win high resolution (print quality)
3. We will not accept a sexually explicit image, PG rating please
4. You must have permission to use any image that you use
5. You must have full copyright permissions on the image

Feature/Opinion T&C's

Feature/opinion page you can create your own permanent page that with between 500 and 2,000 words along with up to five images.

1. PinkUk can accept a Feature/Opinion from anywhere in the world
2. The more details you give the better your article to make stand out and will also help with search engine ranks. People will also be more likely add it to their Facebook
3. The Feature/Opinion must fit into the message we like to give at PinkUk
4. We have the right to turn the article down, if we think its not relevant
5. The article must not criticise a third party, unless you have and include proof in your article
6. You are responsible for all content added to your advert
7. We have the right to change the text to fit within the message we like to give (we will let you agree any changes before we publish)
8. The article must be of interest to our readers, not just and advertisement
9. We do have under 18's using the site, so content and images cannot be x-rated
10. Articles cannot be duplicate content found on other websites
11. Articles must have an LGBTQ+ angle, as PinkUk customers are LGBTQ+
12. Content must be rated PG, as some of our customers are under 18
13. The article needs to be between 500 - 2,000 words long
14. The cost is £100
15. We will not accept articles promoting casino/gambling/crypto/loans, as we deem them unethical

Photos

1. Your article will stand out if you add an images
2. You can have up to five images
3. We have the right to choose which images (if not all) we use and to resize and place on the page, for best layout
4. We will not accept any sexually explicit image
5. You must have permission to use any image that you use
6. Max size 10Mb.
7. Only JPG, JPEG & PNG images we be accepted
8. You must have full copyright permissions on any images you upload
9. Any image uploaded can be used elsewhere on the site or other material related to PinkUk, we will not pass your image onto third parties
10. Images will be resized to fit in with the structure of the page

Videos

1. You can have up to one video
2. We have the right to choose irf we use the video and place on the page, for best layout
3. We will not accept any sexually explicit image
4. You must have permission to use any image that you use
5. Max size 100Mb.
6. Almost all formats can be accepted
7. You must have full copyright permissions on any video you upload
8. Any videos uploaded can be used elsewhere on the site or other material related to PinkUk, we will not pass your image onto third parties

Dating profile T&C's

1. Any sexually explicit image will result in all your photos being removed
2. Your main picture must NOT contain nudity
3. Your main picture must be of you, not a pic of your cat or car
4. Your profile will not appear on the front page if you have no picture
5. If you keep uploading sexually explicit images your profile will be removed
6. Max size 5Mb.
7. jpg and jpeg images can only be accepted
8. You must have full copyright permissions on all images you upload
9. Only profiles with a pic will show on the front page
10. Profiles that have not been updated in two years, will be deleted
11. You will need to be logged in to see/use this section of PinkUk

Reviews

1. Reviews of events/venues: we reserve the right to delete any reviews of events/venues which do not meet our common sense standards of etiquette, accuracy and authenticity. Listings providers should note that unless a review conflicts with our standards, as above, they will remain on the site as authentic examples of our users’ experience. We encourage listings providers to answer any reviews or questions from users
