Pride in Trafford takes place from 15th to 18th May 2024.

Pride in Trafford celebrates and explores identity and LGBTQ+ life in Trafford, to coincide with IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia). There are some familiar events such as the Official Festival Launch, Laugh Riot and Mini Pride, and some brilliant new additions, such as the Queer Creatives Assembly and the Block Party: A celebration of inclusivity and unity, with headline artists from The Cocoa Butter Club and Family Catwalk Extravaganza.

Wednesday the 15.
11:00 Official festival launch. Waterside Plaza, Sale, M33 7ZF. To mark International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, and the opening of the Pride in Trafford 2024 festivities, join us for speeches and song as we raise the Pride Flag at Sale Town Hall with the Chief Executive of Trafford Council. Free Event / All Ages / Approx 20 minutes

Youth Pride 16:30-18:30. Gorse Hill Studios, Cavendish Road, Stretford M32 0PS. Gorse Hill Studios and Rainbow Reflections will facilitate creative activities with focus on youth voice, engaging in discussions and expressing themselves through various art forms which they create. This event is open to Trafford-based youth groups but if you would like to register an interest in attending, please contcat them. Age 13 - 19 / 2 hours

The Cocoa Butter Club. Ghetto fabulous family catwalk extravaganza. DJs / the village: exhibitors area / gelato / film CLUB / QUEER chill out zone. A celebration of inclusivity and unity, join us for our sensational Block Party Weekender. Across the weekend, there’ll be live performances, dazzling cabaret, talks, family activities and loads more. Our vibrant theatre space will be transformed into a Ballroom, hosting The Cocoa Butter Club, DJs and cabaret.
