This really is a hidden gem, a real find and a must for anyone wishing to visit this superb area of the country. Beautiful scenery and so close to so many places to visit , the seaside and above all in the beautiful town of Shaftesbury. The House (The Walled Garden ) is so beautiful, designed with thought and everything one could wish for, Relaxing comes naturally in such a stunning setting. Quality oozes throughout, I cannot recommend enough, I will return ! sooner ,rather than later.

I've stayed at the Walled Garden and cannot recommend it highly enough. Gary and Phil are the perfect hosts, very welcoming and knowledgeable regarding the local area and restaurants. They are charming hosts who met me with a welcoming drink warm handshake and a big smile. I felt like I had known them for a long time. The breakfast definitely set me up for the day with locally made bread, a fantastic Full English and when I asked for it eggs Benedict my favourite. I stay in the Bali room which was peaceful and tranquil. I had the best nights sleep in months and was able to relax on the roof terrace in the afternoon sun. I also wandered through the lovely garden. I would recommend this fantastic B&B to anyone whether on your own or with another guest. Its the perfect place to stay and visit Dorset, in fact when I asked about Stourhead, I was given directions and then Gary came with me to show me around as I was on my own and new to the area. We stopped for a cup of tea and cake in the pub after. I'm certain you'll love it and like me and want to return, I'll definitely be going back soon.
